Downtown Tonopah had four different types of planters. Tonopah Main Street just replaced all planters with 30 self-watering ones. Flowers were purchased locally from Sagebrush Dreams Flowers & More. The new planters are not only enhancing the look of downtown but they are also relieving a lot of volunteers who used to help water the flowers during the summer. The watering will now be done by Town Maintenance staff. Tonopah Main Street purchased 20 additional planters to be placed in 2021.
Tonopah Main Street owns the existing benches on Main Street. We just added eight additional benches to make downtown more welcoming for visitors and shoppers.
Tonopah Main Street reached out to the property owners of vacant downtown businesses to ask permission to beautify storefronts and add signage enticing potential renters or buyers to view the property.

Tonopah Main Street would like to add a downtown sound system to enhance downtown events but also to play music downtown during special occasions such as 4th of July or Christmas.
All downtown murals and monuments were added by Tonopah Main Street when it was operating as Tonopah Development Corporation in the past. We continue adding murals and monuments and hope to create a new mural or monument every year. Our latest monument was the TAAF Airmen's Memorial Wall.
